The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore. Clean, spacious private room with a delightful large bathroom. Friendly staff who help with requests. Breakfast isn't extravagant, but it's adequate. Just be aware of the old building's character. it might not suit everyone. Worth it for the price and charm!

While I appreciated the location, some challenges marred my stay. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find the shared bathrooms in a less than hygienic condition. The mattress in my room was uncomfortable, and I was left with worn, small towels. Additionally, despite requesting an early breakfast ahead of time, the staff was unwilling to accommodate my needs, leaving me feeling neglected during my stay.

The hotel is in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from the old town and the stunning oceanfront. I found it super convenient to access local amenities like cafes, shops, and transportation. It’s also located right behind the cathedral, which added to its charm.

The shared bathrooms were not very clean and felt a bit uncomfortable at times.

This place was a great fit for a speedy visit in Funchal with great value. I really appreciated having a spacious room with a nice view that made my stay enjoyable. Make sure to check out local cafes for good coffee nearby.

Everything was just perfect.

Had an amazing time with friends! The hotel was right in the middle of things, making it easy to explore local attractions like the botanical gardens and markets. Our room was spacious, and there was good Wi-Fi. The old-world charm definitely added to our adventure, and the breakfast rolls were surprisingly delightful.

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. It got a bit too warm at night, which made it tough to sleep comfortably.
